Sam Wood, the organiser of White Tiger Kickboxing Academy, sends their regards to the sports community. Located at Unit 2a, Eagle Works on Carlton Road in Nottingham, White Tiger Kickboxing offers a well-rounded programme for all ages and skill levels.
Sam’s academy offers classes for different age groups: CUB (ages 5-8), TIGER (ages 9-12), and SENIOR (age 13+). To make it easy for busy families, CUB classes are on Mondays from 4.45pm-5.45pm and Saturdays from 9.30am-10.30am. TIGERS meet on Mondays from 6.00pm-7.00pm, Tuesdays from 6.00pm-7.00pm, and Thursdays from 5.30pm-6.30pm. Seniors have classes on Mondays from 7.15pm-8.30pm, Tuesdays from 7.00pm-8.00pm, and Thursdays from 6.45pm-8.00pm. There's also a combined TIGERS & SENIORS class on Wednesdays from 6.30pm-7.30pm and Saturdays from 10.45am-12.00pm.
White Tiger offers additional sparring, self-defence, and weapons classes, providing members with opportunities to develop their skills in a supportive environment. Interested? Try a free trial class first. Afterwards, you can attend up to 4 non-member taster classes at £6 each. There’s a one-time joining fee that varies by age and glove size. The joining package includes a club t-shirt, training trousers, boxing gloves, a grading syllabus book, welcome pack, white grading with belt and certificate, and a yearly licence book. Membership benefits include two months of free classes and a £10 voucher off Red Belt grading.
After the free period, class fees can be paid via standing order: once a week for £29 per month, pay as you go for £10 per class, or twice a week for £37 per month. Unlimited classes are available for £42 per month.
Grading sessions happen four times a year with fees of £30 for all age groups. A minimum lesson count is required and a yearly licence renewal fee of £30 applies. Note, the joining package doesn’t include protective gear or event fees.
