WhiteRose Gymnastics

WhiteRose Gymnastics (WRG) is a British Gymnastics (BG) registered academy located in Goole, East Yorkshire. This gymnastics club specialises in a discipline called TeamGym and welcomes individuals of all abilities and ages, including boys, girls, and adults, irrespective of their background, beliefs, or creeds.

TeamGym is a dynamic and exciting form of gymnastics that combines elements of tumbling, acrobatics, and floor exercises. At WhiteRose Gymnastics, they offer a range of classes to cater to different age groups and skill levels.

For toddlers aged 2–4 years, they have an Open Toddler & Parent class where members can explore balance, body control, coordination, and gain confidence while being introduced to gymnastics equipment.

The Recreational classes are suitable for children aged 4–9 years, divided into different age groups. These classes focus on teaching acrobatic progressions on Tumble, Trampette, Vault, and Floor. They also run Award Schemes similar to badges for swimming, allowing children to track their progress and achievements.

Youth Gym/FreeG is designed for individuals aged 12–17 years, giving them the freedom to choose their training focus. Whether they are looking for fun, fitness, skill development, or a social experience, WhiteRose Gymnastics provides qualified coaches to advise and support their training. Once a coach leads a 15-minute warm-up/stretch session, participants will have access to the entire gym and equipment.

Adults Open Gym is a class designed for individuals aged 16 years and above. Participants have the opportunity to work at their own level with the guidance of British Gymnastics qualified coaches. This class is open to individuals of all backgrounds, from circus performers and cheerleaders to those simply looking to try something new in a safe and enjoyable environment. Similar to the Youth Gym/FreeG class, adults also have access to the entire gym and equipment during the session.

WhiteRose Gymnastics takes pride in its dedicated and knowledgeable coaching staff. The team is led by Josh, the Director and Head Coach, who boasts 22 years of experience in gymnastics and 11 years of coaching experience. He has competed nationally and internationally in TeamGym. Laura, another coach at WhiteRose Gymnastics, holds a Level 1 TeamGym qualification and has a background in sport and exercise science.

Jared, a Level 3 General Gymnastics coach, completes the coaching team.
