Now, a bit of history. White collar boxing started at Gleason’s Fitness Centre in New York and was brought to the UK by boxing promoter Alan Lacey in the mid-1990s. He discovered boxing later in life, trained under reputable boxing figures, and started the trend in London with the “Capital Punishment” event in 2000. Since then, over 100 sold-out events, including “Celebrity Boxing,” have been organised.
