Whitburn Cricket Club, located in the beautiful village of Whitburn in Sunderland, is a warm and welcoming sports club that offers a range of cricket activities for all ages and abilities. Established in 1862, the club has a rich history and is deeply rooted in the local community.

The club's primary focus is to provide a safe and inclusive environment for girls and boys of all ages to enjoy grassroots cricket. At the senior level, Whitburn Cricket Club offers four standards of cricket, from the elite 1st XI to the Midweek Social team, ensuring there is a level suitable for players of all abilities. The club takes pride in nurturing and developing its talented cohort of junior players, many of whom have gone on to represent Durham CCC. With coaching and competitive teams available at eight age groups/levels, as well as a growing girls section, the club is committed to promoting the sport and providing opportunities for young cricketers to flourish.
