The West Yorkshire Shotokan Karate Association currently has two venues in Horbury and Batley. The British Combat Academy in Horbury hosts classes on Wednesdays from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm and Sundays from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Whitfield Centre in Batley hosts classes on Mondays from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Both venues provide ample space and safe parking for attendees.
The club has experienced and skilled instructors who lead the training sessions. Some instructors include Philip Stacey, a 5th Dan black belt and senior instructor, John Ryan, a 3rd Dan black belt, Brian Gomersall, a 2nd Dan black belt, and Paul Jones, a 3rd Dan black belt.
