West Wiltshire Diving Club

West Wiltshire Diving Club, founded in July 2004 by a group of dedicated parents, divers, and their head coach, Melanie Sweetman, is a key player in Trowbridge, UK. Catering to young talents aged 8 and above, the club provides a structured development pathway for aspiring divers.

Training sessions are held every Thursday evening from 18:30 to 20:30 at Trowbridge Sports Centre. These sessions include strength and flexibility training on dry land, followed by pool time to hone diving skills. Mel Sweetman and her dedicated coaching team ensure each diver's growth with a selective training squad approach.

Competitions are a central part of the club's culture. Members are encouraged to compete in the annual club championships, regional events, and aim for spots in National Skills or National Age Group competitions.

Operated by volunteers, the club takes pride in its prestigious Swim 21 Diving Accreditation achieved in spring 2008, underscoring their commitment to excellence and safety.
