Welcome to Westside BJJ, a top martial arts club located in Queenstown, South Australia. Our focus is on the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, specifically addressing takedown and grappling techniques. With a spacious 130sqm mat space, we provide a safe and friendly environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels to train.

At Westside BJJ, we pride ourselves on our super chill vibe and encourage all members to check their ego at the door. We foster a community of respect and camaraderie, where everyone supports each other in their journey to master the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

We believe in the importance of cross-training and welcome members from all clubs to join us. This allows for a diverse training experience and the opportunity to learn from different styles and techniques.

In addition to our regular training sessions, we offer a kids class specifically designed for children aged between 6 and 13 years old. This class focuses on developing fundamental skills in a fun and engaging environment.

To facilitate a quicker recovery after each session, we provide onsite shower, sauna, and ice bath facilities for our members to use. We also have an onsite chiropractor who specialises in treating sporting injuries, as well as a qualified remedial massage therapist.

Our club is led by Dr. David De Conte, a 2nd degree Black Belt with extensive experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Since 2000, David has been a high-level competitor, winning multiple championships in Pan Pacific, Australian, Victorian, and South Australian Jiu Jitsu competitions. He has also played a crucial role in the growth of Jiu Jitsu competition in South Australia and the legalisation of MMA in the state.

Our memberships are flexible, ranging from casual single lessons to 1-month, 3-month, and annual memberships. We also offer discounted rates for students and concession holders.

At Westside BJJ, we believe in a holistic approach to health and wellness. We offer remedial massage and chiropractic treatments, with available rebates through private health funds.

Join us every Saturday for our weekly open mat session, where all clubs are welcome, and no mat fees are required. It's a great opportunity to train with individuals from different backgrounds and improve your skills.
