

Westshore RFC is a renowned rugby club based in Victoria, with a rich history dating back to 1968 when it was established as Velox RFC. In 1987, the club merged with the UVIC Alumni, forming the Velox Valhallians. Following a location change to the Westshore of Victoria, the club rebranded as Westshore Velox RFC. The club competes in both the BC Mens top and BC Mens leading Reserve divisions.
The club boasts an impressive record, with 26 male players having represented Canada on the national team over the years. The Westshore Velox Valkyries, the women's team, have also been dominant in the BCRU topship Division, winning the BC leading Championships 7 times and finishing as finalists 4 times over the past 13 years.
Westshore RFC welcomes players of all skill levels and genders, with practices held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the grass field at Westshore Rec Centre.
