Westshore Kimura Shukokai Karate is a welcoming martial arts school located in Langford, BC. Led by NCCP certified instructors Rob and Sarah, our school focuses on providing a safe and fun environment for students of all ages and skill levels to learn karate. We believe in the importance of lifelong learning, self-defence skills, physical fitness, and character building.
At Westshore Karate, we offer classes for children as young as 4 years old, as well as classes for youth and adults. Whether you are a complete beginner or have previous martial arts experience, you are welcome to join our classes. Our style of karate, Kimura Shukokai, is based on the principles of Tani-ha Shito-ryu and is known for its focus on body mechanics and powerful strikes.
We are a member of Kimura Shukokai International, with affiliated dojos around the world. Our school is conveniently located at City Centre Park, making it easily accessible for students in the Langford area. Registration is ongoing, and new students can start at any time. We offer the first 2 classes for free so you can experience the benefits of Shukokai Karate for yourself.
