West Sale Bowls Club

Welcome to West Sale Bowls Club, the friendly club located just over the rail line in Wurruk, off the highway in Victoria. Our club is known for its welcoming and friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect place for newcomers to lawn bowls and those looking for a sport that combines fun, enjoyment, and a competitive element.

During summer, our club is open on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and from April to October, we open on Thursdays. This ensures that there are plenty of opportunities for our members to enjoy their favourite sport throughout the year.

At West Sale Bowls Club, we also host various events and functions to bring our community together. Recently, we proudly donated $500. 00 to the Central Gippsland Hospital Oncology Unit through a special fundraising event. We believe in giving back to our community and supporting important causes.

We've also had the privilege of hosting the famous TV show “Farmer Wants a Wife” at our club. The episode featuring our club can be watched on Channel 7 Plus, where you can see Brenten and his ladies in action.

One of the highlights of our club's calendar is the Presidents Day, which will be held on Friday, 17th March. This exciting event will feature four players per team, three games, and twelve ends. The entry fee is $25 per player, and lunch and afternoon tea will be provided. Join us for a day of friendly competition and camaraderie.

Additionally, we hold monthly triples on the fourth Thursday of every month. This is a popular event where participants can compete in two bowl triples. The entry fee is $10 per player, and you can bring your own lunch while enjoying the club's bar facilities.
