Welcome to the official website of Weston Angling Club Runcorn, the oldest Angling Club in Runcorn, New Zealand. As a private members-only club, fishing in our club requires a membership licence. We do not offer day tickets, so please ensure you have a valid membership licence, which can be obtained through our website.
At Weston Angling Club Runcorn, we pride ourselves on being an equal opportunities club. However, please note that there is a waiting list for membership applications. While we cannot guarantee immediate membership upon application, your details will be kept on record. So, please do not expect membership in the same year as you apply.
We kindly request that all members help maintain the cleanliness of our facilities, including the toilets. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the toilets, and all members must use their gate keys to access them. Female members will require a separate key for the ladies' toilet facilities.
Our club car park is secure, and it is the responsibility of each member to lock the gate upon entry and exit. Parking on the road or near the substation is strictly prohibited for safety purposes.
If you are interested in applying for a licence, please find the relevant application forms on our website. It is essential to carry your fishing licence with you at all times while fishing. Failure to present a valid licence may result in you being asked to leave the fishing area.
In case of emergencies regarding any lake issues, we have provided the contact details of our treasurer, Charlie McDermaid, at 07903 667269, and our club secretary, Colin Marron, at 07739 583278. Please contact them only in urgent matters related to the lake.
Lastly, our website was designed by S. Edwards, who can be reached at stephen. Edwards1@talktalk. Net.
