About
New players to join our club, whether you are male, female, or a junior player. We welcome all levels of experience, so don't hesitate to get in touch with us to learn more about how you can join the Westmount Rugby Club.
Our club has a rich history dating back to 1876, making us the oldest active rugby club in North America. Originally established as part of the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association, we later evolved into the Montreal Scottish RFC before ultimately becoming the Westmount Rugby Club in the 1970s. Our club has a long-standing tradition of inclusivity and diversity, welcoming players of all backgrounds and nationalities.
The Westmount Rugby Club offers a variety of teams for both men and women, including two men's teams playing in Rugby Quebec's first Division and a women's team playing in the third division. We also have a junior program for younger players aged 6 to 17, with a no-contact option available during the summer months.
Throughout the year, our club maintains a busy schedule with practices, games, and social events. We are committed to promoting the sport of rugby in our community and providing a supportive and welcoming environment for players of all ages and skill levels.
If you are interested in joining us or have any questions about our club, please reach out to us through our website or social media channels. We look forward to welcoming you to the Westmount Rugby Club and sharing our passion for the sport with you. Join us today and be a part of our rugby family!
