West Island Tae Kwon Do

1986 with the aim of providing a platform for individuals to learn and practice the art of Tae Kwon Do under the guidance of experienced Black Belt Masters and Instructors. As the first Tae Kwon Do school in the West Island, we have a rich history spanning over 28 years, during which we have nurtured and trained over 200 members, many of whom have been part of our school for more than two decades.

Tae Kwon Do, a modern martial art established in South Korea in 1955, traces its roots back to the early beginnings of Korea. At West Island Tae Kwon Do, we uphold the traditional values and techniques of this ancient martial art while adapting them to modern practices. We emphasize discipline, respect, and perseverance, instilling these qualities in our students as they progress through their training.

Our school prides itself on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels to learn and grow in their Tae Kwon Do practice. Whether you are a junior beginner or an adult looking to challenge yourself, we offer classes tailored to suit the needs and goals of each student. With a strong focus on physical fitness, self-defence, and mental strength, our classes provide a holistic approach to martial arts training.

Led by Grand Master Chong Lee, a respected figure in the Tae Kwon Do community, our school is committed to upholding the highest standards of excellence in martial arts instruction.
