Western Elite Hockey Group

Western Elite Hockey Group is a hockey club based in Calgary, Alberta, dedicated to connecting committed athletes with excellent junior hockey programs in Western Canada. With a team of experienced coaches who have years of success advancing players to Junior A, the NCAA, and USports, Western Elite Hockey Group prides itself on organizing professional camps and showcases to provide instant exposure for talented hockey players.

The annual Western Elite Hockey Showcase brings together over 90 Junior A & B coaches and scouts from around Western Canada, providing players with the opportunity to interact with coaches, ask questions, and learn about different programs. The showcase includes seminars and presentations on various topics related to the recruiting process, different leagues and programs, and academic preparation for college hockey.

Players who participate in the Western Elite Showcase have their information compiled into player profiles that are distributed to coaches and scouts, allowing them to reach out to the players for future opportunities. The club aims to support athletes in their journey towards playing hockey at the next level, whether that be immediately or further down the road.

Western Elite Hockey Group hosts an annual Calgary Showcase Camp at the Trico Centre, where players can showcase their skills for coaches, general managers, and scouts from Junior A & B leagues across Western Canada and the United States. The camp offers the chance for players to compete, learn, and grow in a supportive and professional environment.

For athletes attending the Calgary Showcase Camp, Western Elite Hockey Group has negotiated special rates at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino and the SureStay by Best Western, both located just 10 minutes from the Trico Centre, providing convenient and comfortable accommodation options for participants.
