Westcoast Fitness kicked off as Waiuku’s first dedicated boxing gym, running popular bootcamp sessions at the Rugby Stadium. Over time, they’ve added more training programmes focusing on strength, conditioning, and dynamic workouts using bodyweight exercises and unconventional gear.
There’s something for everyone at Westcoast Fitness. Gladiator60 is a high-intensity workout mixing bodyweight exercises and weightlifting with minimal rest. If you're just starting out or want to build conditioning, Boxfit is perfect – a low-impact session using boxing techniques to get your heart pumping.
Boxfit is also great for learning boxing techniques while improving fitness and coordination. Other classes like Box n Grind combine boxing and a Gladiator workout, and classes like Box n Abs and Box n Bar mix boxing warm-ups with core or bar workouts.
