Join the West Cambridge Runners Beginners Group for a running adventure! Perfect for University of Cambridge Staff who are new to running or want to ease back into it, this group, led by experienced run leaders, offers weekly sessions tailored to your pace. Taking advantage of the bike paths around the University of Cambridge Sports Centre, these sessions are designed to be inclusive and straightforward. Expect a blend of walking and running intervals to help you boost your stamina and confidence. The first session kicks off on Thursday, May 12th, lasting around 20 to 30 minutes. No need to worry about fees as joining is completely free, and participants can utilize the Sports Centre's changing facilities. Over the course of 9 weeks, you can work towards completing the Couch to 5k program. Spaces are limited to 12 participants on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure to grab your spot and get ready to begin your running journey with the West Cambridge Runners Beginners Group!
