The Wembley & Sudbury Tennis and Squash Club, located in Wembley, is a well-established club that has been providing sport facilities for the community since its establishment in 1901. Celebrating its 120th anniversary, the club welcomes members of all ages, standards, and abilities to participate in social and competitive tennis and squash.
As a member-owned and operated club, registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), the Wembley & Sudbury Tennis and Squash Club does not earn a profit on its income. Instead, all funds received are utilised to improve the club's facilities. The club operates under the guidance of a committee of volunteer members who are elected annually.
For tennis enthusiasts, the club offers five hard courts, two of which are fitted with floodlights, allowing for nighttime play. Additionally, the club ensures accessibility for disabled individuals. Members have the opportunity to meet and play with other club members during dedicated social days. To facilitate playing with different individuals, WhatsApp groups are utilised.
Accredited coaching is available throughout the year, and the club's men's and junior teams compete in the LTA leagues during both the summer and winter seasons. Tennis members who personally register with the LTA Advantage Play+ also have the chance to enter a draw to win a pair of tickets to the Wimbledon Championships.
With two squash courts, the Wembley & Sudbury Tennis and Squash Club offers club nights for all levels on Wednesdays. Supervised play and coaching are also available every Saturday morning. Interested individuals can apply for membership online, and a 3-month trial membership option allows potential members to experience the club before committing. For those who prefer not to join, court bookings are also available.
The club's facilities include a clubhouse with changing rooms, showers, and table tennis. Ample parking is provided for the convenience of members and visitors. In addition to tennis and squash, the club offers a range of other activities, including running and social events such as barbecues. Coaching is available for both adults and juniors.
Club social sessions are held on designated days, allowing members to turn up and play with other friendly club members. This eliminates the need to find a tennis partner and encourages regular exercise and sport participation. While the social sessions are not suitable for beginners, individuals unsure of their level are welcome to have it evaluated. Social sessions take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:00 to 20:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 09:00 to 12:00.

In summary, the Wembley & Sudbury Tennis and Squash Club offers a friendly and inclusive environment for tennis, squash, running, and social activities. With its rich history, top-notch facilities, and commitment to providing a positive sporting experience for all, the club is an excellent choice for anyone interested in tennis and squash in the Wembley area.
