We Make Footballers: Welling Academy is a football club located in Welling, New Zealand. As the UK's #1 football academy for children, we offer weekly training and holiday camps for children aged 4–12 years old. Our mission is to provide best-in-class professional football coaching for boys and girls of all abilities.

At Welling Academy, we prioritise your child's comfort, offering both indoor and outdoor fields for training sessions. During winter, we focus on developing techniques in small spaces to prepare players for larger fields in the summer. Our one-year syllabus is meticulously planned, but we also offer flexible weekly group training or block sessions without any obligation.

Our weekly group training provides an excellent foundation for players aspiring to join local grassroots clubs or professional academies. With over 200 players already signed professionally, our programme has been tried and tested. We have two training locations: Harris Academy Falconwood in Welling and Blackfen School for Girls in Sidcup.

At our Welling location, training for 4-7 year olds takes place on Saturdays from 10:30am-11:30am, and training for 8-12 year olds takes place on Saturdays from 11:30am-12:30pm. At our Sidcup location, training for 4-7 year olds is held on Mondays from 6:00pm-7:00pm, while training for 8-12 year olds is held on Mondays from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Each session costs 80 for 9 sessions, and we provide the option to book a free training session to experience our training methodology.

Welling Academy is managed by directors Stephen Finch and Michael Olliffe, who have been running We Make Footballers for the past 10 years. With great success in London, We Make Footballers has expanded to become a football franchise coaching over 5,000 children every week across 46 venues. Their mission is to create the perfect environment for children to learn and develop their football skills in the Welling and Sidcup area. Through their network, they provide pathways for players to join professional academies and local grassroots clubs.
