Chess Power is excited to announce the upcoming Term 2 Wellington Hutt Valley Regionals Chess Tournament. This event is perfect for chess lovers of all skill levels looking to test their strategic thinking and have some fun in a competitive setting.
The tournament will be held at Wilford School on Thursday, May 23, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM and wrapping up by 2:15 PM. Players will compete in 7 rounds of Swiss format games with each player having 15 minutes to make their moves.
Don't worry about payment on the day - entry fees will be invoiced after the tournament based on attendance. Just make sure to arrive before 8:45 AM to check in and get settled for a full day of chess excitement. Prizes will be up for grabs, so bring your A-game and get ready to show off your skills.
