Wellington Hang Gliding Paragliding Club (WHGPC) supports people who want to learn to fly and progress in hang gliding and paragliding. Based around Paekākāriki Hill in the Wellington region, the club has more than 60 members and manages multiple coastal and inland flying sites in Wellington and Wairarapa. It focuses on growing the sport, safety consciousness, and site rules, including guidance for visiting pilots.
