📢 Hey Sports Community,
Ben here, just wanting to share some info about Welland Skatepark in Peterborough. You’ll find it at 125 Lincoln Street, and it’s a hot spot for skateboarders and BMX riders alike. Whether you're just starting out or have some experience under your belt, there’s plenty to test your skills.
The park’s unsupervised, so you can ride at your own pace, but do remember to gear up with helmets, and elbow and knee pads. Safety first, folks! 🛹🚴♂️
We’ve got a few rules to keep the park safe and enjoyable for everyone. Kids under 12 should have an adult around. Spectators, feel free to cheer from the sidelines, but please stay off the riding areas. And let’s keep it respectful – no verbal or physical abuse.
Quick heads-up: Leave the drugs, smoking, and alcohol at home. Keep it clean and fun for everyone. Motorised and recreational vehicles? Nope, they’re a no-go. Same for pets and graffiti. Use the bins for rubbish – let’s keep the park tidy!
Open from dawn till dusk, it's perfect for those early morning rides or afternoon sessions. Plus, with the Welland Community Centre and other facilities nearby, it’s easy to make a full day of it.
If you’ve got any questions, the Parks & Forestry team is available at 01733 747474 or you can send an email to [email protected].

Cheers,
