The local Contemporary Dance event at Stagecoach Performing Arts Oxted (Hazelwood School) is the perfect opportunity for children and teens aged 6 to 18 to showcase their singing, dancing, and drama skills. These weekly Main Stages performing arts classes cater to different age groups, giving students a chance to develop their talents individually and as part of a team.
At our dance club, students not only learn the fundamentals of singing, dancing, and acting but also explore various styles of music and dance, including musical theatre and street dance. They also get to delve into the world of drama through role play, improvisation, and performance. It's an all-encompassing experience that allows students to enhance their artistic abilities.
In addition to the regular classes, our Main Stages students and parents can take advantage of additional offerings available at selected schools. We follow an Educational Framework that ensures a consistent and high-quality performing arts education across all Stagecoach schools. However, we also understand the importance of tailoring lessons to suit the unique needs of our students.
Our fun and friendly performing arts classes run for three hours each week during term time and out-of-school hours. Each term spans approximately 12 weeks, giving students ample time to grow and refine their skills. New students can avail of a two-week trial for just £50, giving them a taste of what Stagecoach has to offer. If they decide to continue with us after the trial period, they can speak to the local Stagecoach Performing Arts School Principal.
