Children and teens aged six to 18 can take their singing, dancing, and drama skills to the next level by joining Stagecoach Performing Arts Cockermouth, the local Contemporary Dance club. Located on Main Street, this club offers weekly Main Stages performing arts classes that are tailored to different age groups.
What makes these classes so exciting is that each week brings something new. Students get the chance to develop their skills as individuals while also collaborating as a team to create performances that parents and guardians can enjoy. Not only do they learn singing, dancing, and acting, but they also explore a variety of styles including musical theatre and street dance. Drama is a big part of the program as well, with role play, improvisation, and performance activities.
The Main Stages program ensures a high-quality performing arts education for all students. Lessons can be personalised to meet each individual's needs, allowing them to flourish in their own unique way. To kickstart this journey, a two-week trial is available for just £50. These classes run for three hours each week during term time, conveniently outside of school hours.

For families with more than one child interested in Main Stages, we have a fantastic sibling discount of 50%. This means your kids can enjoy the classes together while saving some money in the process.
When it comes to fees, we offer two convenient payment options. Option 1 requires a deposit of £25 to cover the first two weeks. The remaining term fees of £137 are then payable in the second week, bringing the total fee to £162 per term.
Option 2 also starts with a £25 deposit for the first two weeks, but you'll need to pay the remaining term fees of £140 on the first day of term. This option includes an administration fee of £3 and also requires two post-dated cheques for £70 each. With this option, the total fee for the term is £165.
