Children and teens in Hatfield have a wonderful opportunity to explore their love for singing, dancing, and drama through the Stagecoach Performing Arts Potters Bar Contemporary Dance club. Whether they have dreams of treading the boards as a professional performer or just want to have fun and build their confidence, our club offers a supportive and creative environment for all aspiring artists.
At our weekly Main Stages classes, held on Main Street, students are split into smaller groups based on their age. This allows them to learn and grow alongside peers who are at a similar stage in their artistic development. Each week, our dedicated team of instructors guide the students through a range of activities, ensuring that no two sessions are the same. From vocal warm-ups and dance routines to acting exercises and role play, our students are encouraged to explore and experiment with different styles, techniques, and genres.
One of the key benefits of our Main Stages program is that it not only helps to develop singing, dancing, and drama skills, but also nurtures essential life skills. Through the process of collaborating and working as a team, students learn valuable lessons in communication, problem-solving, and teamwork. These skills will benefit them not only in their artistic pursuits but also in their personal and academic lives.
To give parents and guardians a glimpse into their child's progress, we regularly organise performances for them to enjoy. These showcases are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and serve as a great source of pride for both them and their families. We firmly believe that watching your child light up the stage is an experience like no other.
If you're interested in enrolling your child in our Main Stages program, we offer a two-week trial for just £50. During this trial period, students will attend three hours of classes each week. If, after the trial, you decide to continue, simply speak with the Principal. We also offer a 50% discount for additional siblings enrolling in Main Stages, making it even more accessible for families with multiple children.
