Young adults and teenagers in Reading who have a passion for performing can take their singing, dancing, and acting skills to the next level at Stagecoach Performing Arts Reading North's Contemporary Dance event. This local club is dedicated to providing a platform for young performers to develop their talents and work together as a small theatre company.
The Contemporary Dance event is specifically designed for students in our Further Stages classes, which offer in-depth training and master classes. These classes not only help students refine their performance skills, but also prepare them for auditions to theatre and vocational drama schools. Each class typically lasts up to three hours and takes place on a weekly basis.
Whether you're already a member of our Contemporary Dance club or a newcomer with prior singing, dancing, and acting experience, we warmly welcome you to join us. However, please note that Further Stages classes are only available at select schools throughout the UK, and the joining ages may vary depending on the location. To find out more about specific class durations and availability, we recommend contacting your local Stagecoach Performing Arts School Principal.
For those who are interested in participating, we offer a two-week trial for Further Stages at a cost of £50. This trial period allows you to experience the classes firsthand, with each session lasting a fulfilling three hours per week. If you decide to continue your journey with Stagecoach after the trial, all you need to do is speak to your local Stagecoach Performing Arts School Principal to discuss further enrolment.
