Children and teens aged six to 18 can participate in the weekly Main Stages performing arts classes at Stagecoach Performing Arts Washington and Chester-le-Street. These classes provide a great opportunity for young individuals to enhance their singing, dancing, and drama skills.
The classes are split into smaller groups based on age, ensuring that each student receives personalised attention and guidance. Each week, the class activities vary, keeping things exciting and providing a unique experience for everyone involved.
At Main Stages, we believe in fostering both individual growth and teamwork. Students are encouraged to develop their skills independently, but also to collaborate as a team to create performances that can be enjoyed by their parents and guardians. This allows them to experience the joy of working together towards a common goal and showcases their talent to their loved ones.
The performing arts education at Main Stages goes beyond singing, dancing, and acting. We also explore various styles of music and dance, such as musical theatre and street dance. Additionally, students have the opportunity to delve into the world of drama through role play, improvisation, and performance. This comprehensive approach ensures a well-rounded and enriching experience for our students.
Our Main Stages classes are available at selected schools. If you're interested, you can reach out to your local school Principal to inquire about what they offer. Our schools operate under an Educational Framework, guaranteeing a high-quality performing arts education. However, this framework also allows each school to tailor the lessons to best suit the needs of their students.
For those who want to give our classes a try, we offer a two-week trial during term time. These classes are held outside of school hours, and each session runs for three hours per week. The trial costs £50 for Main Stages students. If you decide to continue with Stagecoach after the trial, simply speak to your local Stagecoach Performing Arts School Principal to get further information on the booking process.
If you have any questions or require more details, our friendly customer services team is ready to assist you. You can reach them at 0800 915 0199.
