

Welcome to Wazfit at Dance Connect! Located in Kinross, New Zealand, Wazfit is a fitness centre that offers a variety of classes and personal training sessions to help individuals achieve their fitness goals.
At Wazfit, the founder, Joanna Waz, has recently made some changes to create a new studio with a lovely and private atmosphere. Located at Beeches Park Cottage, Golf Course, Kinross, the new studio allows for smaller class sizes, providing a more personalised experience for each client. This setup allows for one-on-one contact with Joanna and the opportunity for her to get to know each individual personally and offer help and advice when needed. Ensuring that exercises are done correctly is of utmost importance at Wazfit, as it leads to more effective workouts and reduces the risk of joint damage, all while creating positive changes for overall well-being.
This year, Wazfit has some exciting additions to the class schedule. In the mornings, a Gentle Yoga class will be changed to a Spinal Mobility class on Mondays at 10:45 am. This class will focus on strength and mobility of the spine using Pilates and Yoga techniques. Starting from January 17th, a Pilates class will be introduced on Tuesdays at 11:45 am.
Additionally, due to the popularity of the Friday Barbell class, Wazfit will now offer two classes instead of one, with the first class starting at 9:30 am and the second at 10:30 am, in the new studio at Beeches Park Cottage, Kinross.
For evening classes, a new Metabolic class will be offered on Mondays at 6:15 pm. This 30-minute class aims to boost metabolism through high-intensity exercises using weights. Starting from January 16th, this class will initially be a trial class and may become a permanent fixture based on popularity. Furthermore, a new Barbell class will be available on Thursdays at 6 pm, starting from January 19th.
Individuals can choose to participate in the fitness classes or opt for personal training sessions at Wazfit. Both options are available for in-person sessions at the studio or can be streamed online through Zoom. Joanna personally provides the fitness classes and personal training sessions at Wazfit. The class timetable is designed to cater to all fitness levels, and if individuals need help deciding which class suits them best, they can contact Joanna for assistance.
For those who require additional guidance or personal attention, one-on-one personal training sessions with Joanna, a Level 3 advanced Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor, are also available. Joanna's extensive knowledge and experience allow her to understand clients' needs and deliver unique personalised programmes that improve their body awareness, posture, and movement patterns for long-term benefits.
Excitingly, as of Monday, October 31st, Wazfit will be operating from two locations. In addition to Dance Connect, Joanna has created a new studio in her home and is looking forward to working there. Please note that most of the classes will continue to take place at Dance Connect.
