Established in 1922 with 9 holes, the course expanded to 18 holes on Canada Day, 1935. Following enhancements by renowned Golf Course Architect Stanley Thompson in the 1950s, Waterton Lakes Golf Course continues to provide a challenging and memorable experience. Managed by Lakeland Golf Management Inc., the facility includes an 18-hole course, restaurant, patio, lounge, lesson programs, power cars, club, and cart rentals. The operating season is from May to October, weather permitting. Golfers are required to wear appropriate attire and adhere to course policies. Tee time reservations can be made up to 14 days in advance and a round of 18 holes is expected to be played in four to four and a half hours for an enjoyable experience.
