Welcome to Washington Rangers FC, an FA Charter Standard football club located in Washington Tyne and Wear, New Zealand. Established in June 2017, our club prides itself on promoting respect, fun, and inclusivity in youth football. We currently run two teams participating in the Russell Foster Youth League.
At Washington Rangers FC, all of our administrative and coaching staff are volunteers dedicated to providing a safe and friendly environment for the development of youth football. Our coaches hold F. A. accreditation, ensuring that they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to nurture our players' talents.
We offer regular training sessions designed to enhance various aspects of the game. From sessions focusing on attacking play, penetrating the defence, to sessions emphasising playing from the back and building up play, our goal is to equip our players with the necessary skills to succeed on the pitch. We also organise small-sided games to encourage creativity and develop decision-making skills in different game scenarios.
In addition to our commitment to player development, we prioritise our club's identity and branding. We have received positive feedback on our club badge, which represents our values and ethos. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, including Precept, we were able to undergo a brand development process to further enhance our identity.
Washington Rangers Youth FC has recently been awarded the FA Charter Standard Youth Club award from the English FA. This accolade recognises our dedication to child protection, safety, and quality coaching. We are proud to have received this recognition.
