Sensei Warren Hickey is a highly accomplished martial artist, having won state and national Australian Karate Federation point fighting championships during the 1970s and 1980s. He was also selected to represent Australia in various international tournaments. In 2015, Warren was awarded his 6th Dan black belt in shotokan by world-renowned martial artist Hanshi Patrick McCarthy. He holds a Bachelor of Teaching from Charles Sturt University and has worked as a casual school teacher for many years.

Sensei Taylor Sargent, Warren's daughter, is also an integral part of the Precision Martial Arts team. She holds a 4th Dan black belt in Shotokan karate, earned under her father's guidance. With over 20 years of martial arts experience, Taylor has achieved great success in state, national, and international karate competitions. She also has a double degree in Communication (Public Relations) and Business from Charles Sturt University.

Taylor plays an important role in designing and implementing the karate syllabus at the club, ensuring that students progressively develop their fitness, skills, and confidence.
