Army. He is a Level One BTF Coach and has completed multiple Ironman races, including Ironman Wales and Ironman Frankfurt. John is also a qualified Leader in Run Fitness and is passionate about helping others achieve their goals in triathlon and running. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

SessionsAt Warley Wasps Triathlon & Running Club, we offer a variety of training sessions to cater to all levels and abilities. Our coached swim sessions take place at the local swimming pool, where our qualified coaches provide guidance and support to improve technique and build confidence in the water. We also offer open water swim sessions at Netherton Reservoir during the warmer months, providing a unique and challenging experience for triathletes and open water swimmers.

For cyclists, we organise group rides on both roads and trails. These rides cater to all abilities and offer the opportunity to improve fitness, develop bike-handling skills, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Tipton and the surrounding areas. We also offer structured brick sessions, focusing on integrating cycling and running training to prepare for triathlon events.

Our running group, affiliated with England Athletics, offers sessions for beginners looking to complete their first 5k as well as experienced marathon runners looking to improve performance. Our qualified running coaches provide guidance on technique, pacing, and training plans to help runners achieve their goals.
