Tom, the organiser, wants to send a quick note to the sports community about Ware Youth Football Club, established back in 1973. Located in Ware, it’s found at Trinity Playing Fields and is a big part of the local scene. Tom is keen to emphasise how the club, underpinned by the values of respect, pride, and enjoyment, provides a safe and welcoming environment for everyone involved.
Ware Youth FC holds the distinction of being an FA three-star accredited club. It’s a place where over 350 boys and girls, aged 4 to 18, come together for both fun and competitive football. Nurturing skills and promoting teamwork is at the club’s core, something Tom wants everyone to know. If anyone’s curious about what the accreditation entails, they can have a look on the FA website.
The club has grown significantly, with 38 teams from U7s to U18, including eight girls' teams and an adult team. For the youngest ones, from U4s to U6s, there are mixed development programmes, and the Wildcats initiative is there for girls U7s to U13s. The mixed teams play in the Mid-Herts Rural Minors League, while the girls compete in the Herts Girls Football Partnership League.
Facilities at Ware Youth FC are top-notch, catering to the needs of the community. There are eight pitches varying in size for different match types (5-a-side, 7-a-side, 9-a-side, and 11-a-side). The clubhouse is a lively spot, offering hot and cold drinks and freshly prepared food. There are also toilet facilities with disabled access.
For those driving, an on-site car park is available and can accommodate about 80 cars.
Tom wants to remind everyone that the club website’s Latest News section is the best way to stay in the loop. To receive updates, folks can join the club’s mailing list. Personal data is only used for club news, and unsubscribing is easy – just send an email to chairman@wareyouthfootballclub.co.uk or secretary@wareyouthfootballclub.co.uk.
At Ware Youth Football Club, it’s not just about the sport; it’s about building a community and ensuring everyone has a great time. With excellent facilities, the club prides itself on being a place where young players can grow and enjoy the game. Tom welcomes everyone to be a part of this thriving football family.
