Welcome to Wapping Tae Kwon-Do, a renowned Martial arts school located in East London. Conveniently situated near Tower Bridge, The City, and Central London, our club is easily accessible to both residents and visitors of the city. We take pride in offering top-notch Tae Kwon-Do training to children (aged six years and above) and adults of all fitness levels.
At Wapping Tae Kwon-Do Club, we welcome new members with open arms, regardless of their level of experience or physical condition. You don't need to be super fit or have any specialised equipment before joining our club. All you need is comfortable exercise attire, and we will guide you through the rest. To help you gauge your interest and passion for Tae Kwon-Do, we invite all new members to enjoy a Free Trial Class.
Our club was established in 2005 by Ms. Helen Campbell, a dedicated member of the Tae Kwon-do Association of Great Britain. Over the years, the Wapping Tae Kwon-Do Club has flourished under her leadership, producing numerous black belt students. As Ms.
Campbell nurtured her senior students, she encouraged their growth as instructors and helped them develop their teaching abilities. In 2016, she gracefully handed over the reins of the club to one of these exceptional students, Ms. Hayley Thorne, who continues to manage and lead the club today.
As proud members of the Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain, we adhere to the highest standards of training and professionalism. Our instructors are experienced and fully certified, ensuring that you receive top-quality instruction and guidance during your Tae Kwon-Do journey. We believe that martial arts training not only develops physical strength and coordination but also instils discipline, focus, and self-confidence.
