Welcome to the Wanganui-Manawatu Sea Fishing Club! Located in Whanganui, New Zealand, our club is dedicated to promoting and preserving the art of sea fishing in our beautiful coastal region. As a member of the Wanganui-Manawatu Sea Fishing Club, you will have access to a range of exciting events and competitions throughout the year. One of our most popular events is the WMSFC Leaderboard, where members can showcase their fishing skills and compete for the top spots. Please note the updated rules for the leaderboard, including guidelines around weighing fish, catching methods, and eligibility requirements. We encourage all members to familiarise themselves with these rules to ensure fair and competitive participation.
Another highlight of our club is the King's Birthday Photo Competition. This annual competition allows members to showcase their photography skills by submitting their best fishing-related photos. We are proud to announce the winners of our recent competition and extend our thanks to our guest judge Alana from Paddock to Print. Congratulations to Ava Higgins for winning the grand prize, a brand new Kayak!
