Welcome to Walton Wado Karate, one of the longest established martial arts clubs in Elmbridge. Founded in 1997, we have been practising the traditional Japanese Karate style of Wado-ryu for over two decades. Our club is proud to be a member of England Wado-kai Karate-do Renmei, ensuring that our students receive high-quality instruction and training.
At Walton Wado Karate, we are passionate about developing our students in the art of Wado-ryu. Whether you are a beginner or have advanced experience, we welcome students of all levels. Our qualified instructors are CRB/DBS checked and insured, providing a safe and supportive environment for learning. We believe that martial arts is about more than just physical techniques, but also about personal growth, discipline, and self-defence.
We offer free first lessons to all new students, so come and join us to experience the art of Wado-ryu. Just bring along loose, comfortable clothes and a willingness to learn. Our training sessions take place every Thursday at St. Mary's Church Hall in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey.
Junior classes are held from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a minimum age requirement of 7. Adult classes follow from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm, with a minimum age requirement of 15.
