That by the time I reached 16, I was carrying around 5 stone of excess weight.
But everything changed when I made the decision to take control of my health and transform my body. I dedicated myself to fitness and nutrition, and through hard work and determination, I managed to lose the weight and completely transform my physique.
Building on my own success, I decided to become a qualified Personal Trainer and help others achieve their own fitness goals. In 2015, I set up Walkerfit, a personal training service based in London.
I have worked at various respected gyms in London, including Six3nine, before deciding to go freelance in 2017. With years of experience under my belt, I have helped hundreds of clients, each with their own unique fitness goals.
At Walkerfit, I offer both online and in-person training services. Clients have the option to train at my private studio in Kensington or at a location that is convenient for them.
One thing that sets Walkerfit apart is my holistic approach to fitness and nutrition. I believe that nutrition is the cornerstone of any successful body and health transformation. Every plan I create is personalised to the individual's preferences, taking into account their lifestyle and goals. I strive to design plans that are realistic and sustainable for long-term results, rather than relying on fad diets or quick fixes.
In addition to nutrition, I also focus on weight training, fat loss, movement, and flexibility. I incorporate resistance training to complement improved mobility and flexibility, helping clients become strong in their newfound ranges of motion. Strength training is at the forefront of my coaching, as I believe it is a powerful tool for transforming the body.
I understand that goals and circumstances change, which is why I adapt and progress each client's programme over time to ensure they continue to see results. I incorporate various styles of training to find what clients enjoy and can maintain consistency with. Ultimately, my aim is to help clients develop the correct mentality and mindset to achieve their desired body.
The coaching experience at Walkerfit goes beyond just physical transformation. I help clients change bad habits, instil new routines, and build confidence. I work with clients to identify their “why” and use emotional triggers to keep them motivated and moving forward. Furthermore, I believe that the habits and routines developed through nutrition and exercise are tools that clients can utilise for the rest of their lives.
