Waikanae Bridge Club

Welcome to the Waikanae Bridge Club, a vibrant and welcoming community dedicated to the game of bridge. Located at 27B Elizabeth Street in beautiful Waikanae, our club offers a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for players of all levels to learn and enjoy competitive bridge.

Our club has a rich history, and we are proud to provide opportunities for both beginners and experienced players to improve their skills and participate in exciting tournaments. We host a variety of tournaments throughout the year, including the Waikanae Junior 3B Pairs Tournament, Waikanae Intermediate Pairs Tournament, Waikanae Multi Grade Tournament, and the Waikanae Open Tournament. These events showcase the talent and dedication of our members and provide a platform for friendly competition.

In addition to our tournaments, we offer bridge lessons for those interested in learning or honing their skills. Our knowledgeable instructors provide comprehensive lessons that cover the fundamentals of bidding and playing bridge. Lessons for 2024 will commence on Monday, 11 March.

At the Waikanae Bridge Club, we believe in fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among our members. We have a dedicated committee that works tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of the club and organise various social events. Our club boasts several life members who have made significant contributions to the development and growth of bridge in our region.

We also offer hall hire for special occasions and events. Our spacious and well-equipped hall provides the perfect setting for gatherings and celebrations.

Club sessions are held on Mondays at 1 PM, Tuesdays at 7:15 PM, Thursdays at 1 PM, and Fridays at 7:15 PM. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the start time to ensure a prompt and enjoyable playing experience.

Visitors and non-members are always welcome to join us at our club. Whether you are a seasoned player or just starting your bridge journey, you will find a warm and inclusive community at the Waikanae Bridge Club.
