At Wado Kai Leeds, we focus on providing a structured and supportive environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels to learn and practise the art of karate. Our goal is to help you gain confidence, develop new skills, and improve your overall fitness, strength, and flexibility.
We take great pride in our affiliation with the English Karate Federation, ensuring that all of our instructors and black belts are registered with Wado-Kai headquarters in Japan. Rest assured that our instructors hold the necessary qualifications and possess a valid first aid qualification and DBS clearance.
Our training sessions take place on Tuesdays and Sundays, catering to both junior and senior participants. Our junior sessions on Tuesdays run from 19:00 to 20:00, while the senior sessions extend from 19:00 to 21:00. On Sundays, we offer junior sessions from 12:00 to 13:00.
As part of our commitment to your progress, we conduct gradings several times a year. These gradings allow you to advance through the ranks of karate, starting from beginner levels and gradually progressing to more advanced levels. Furthermore, our members have the opportunity to compete in local, international, and even world championships.
We understand the importance of affordability, which is why we offer your first session absolutely free. For subsequent sessions, our general admission prices are 5. 00 for juniors and 6. 00 for seniors.
