Join the traditional Wado Ryu Karate courses in Somerset with Swift Hanshi teaching. The first course will take place next weekend in the Bradford On Tone dojo, located at the Momiji-Dojo Wado Ryu Karate Club. This course will focus on the Kushanku kata, a fundamental aspect of Wado Ryu Karate.
For those who are unfamiliar, Wado Ryu Karate is a dynamic and versatile martial art that combines traditional striking techniques with fluid movements and effective self-defence strategies. It is a great way to improve physical fitness, mental discipline, and self-confidence.
The second course will be held in December at the SWKA dojo in Taunton, where participants will have the chance to explore the key Wado Ryu sets of Ohyu Gumite & Kihon Gumite. These sets are crucial for developing a strong foundation in Wado Ryu Karate and refining one's technique.
Regardless of your age or experience level, these courses are suitable for everyone. Whether you are a beginner looking to get started or a seasoned practitioner seeking to enhance your skills, you will find a welcoming and supportive environment at the Momiji-Dojo Wado Ryu Karate Club.
Our Bradford On Tone dojo is equipped with a recently refurbished sprung wooden floor, providing a comfortable and safe training space. In addition, we have kitchen facilities available for use, ensuring that our participants can stay refreshed throughout the training sessions. The dojo itself exudes an old world atmosphere, creating a unique and authentic karate experience.
After months of home training, our students can finally get back to training in person at our dojo. The anticipation is high, and we are determined to ensure that the Kushanku Kata course goes ahead, adhering to limited attendance numbers and following social distancing guidance. The health and safety of our participants are of the utmost importance to us.
In addition to the courses, we also offer regular weekly sessions for juniors/beginners and adults/teens. These sessions are designed to cater to all skill levels, allowing participants to progress and improve their techniques at their own pace. We also extend a warm invitation to members of other local clubs who may be interested in joining us for training and sparring sessions.
Please stay tuned for updates on our club's May Wado Ryu Karate course, which may be rescheduled for later in the year. We understand that schedules can change, but we remain committed to providing opportunities for individuals to learn and practice Wado Ryu Karate.
So, don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity! Join us at the Momiji-Dojo Wado Ryu Karate Club in Wellington and embark on a journey of self-discovery, discipline, and physical fitness.
