Considered one of the top fishing destinations in Ontario, Wabigoon Lake is renowned for its abundance of Trophy Walleye, Monster Muskie, Giant Northern Pike, Tasty Perch, Big Crappie, and Hard Fighting Smallmouth Bass. It is also known as the top lake in Ontario for the combination of Walleye and Muskie fishing.
The camp caters to anglers year-round, targeting a variety of fish species including Northern Pike, Walleye, Muskie, Crappie, Lake Trout, White Fish, Bass, and Perch. Specializing in guided and non-guided fishing trips on the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes and other remote lakes, guests have the opportunity to access almost every fish species available in North West Ontario.
Wabigoon Lake Outfitters prides itself on providing guests with unique personal experiences and a high level of success in their fishing endeavors. Many guests have caught fish far larger than expected, with Walleyes reaching over 10 pounds, Muskie over 50 inches, and feisty 20-pound Northern Pike commonly patrolling the shoreline. The camp also offers a range of outdoor adventure activities suitable for the whole family, including hiking, canoeing, swimming, and visits to local attractions such as museums and golf courses.
Visitors can expect first-class cabin accommodations with stunning waterfront views and the opportunity to witness spectacular sunsets, stars, and even Northern Lights. In addition to fishing, Wabigoon Lake Outfitters offers hunting opportunities in the fall for Black Bear, Moose, and Whitetail Deer. The Black Bear Hunting management area spans 250 square miles and produces huge bears, while the camp's Whitetail Deer hunts in the Dryden area are highly successful.
