Hosted by the experienced WA Ultimate events team, this tournament offers quality playing time for each game. To ensure a fair start, a disc toss is used to determine which team begins on Offence/Defence, and each point starts with a pull. And don't forget, there's a maximum of 30 seconds allowed between points to keep the game moving at lightning speed!
During gameplay, it's crucial to stay within the field area, which is the perimeter inside the basketball court. Unfortunately, any contact with the walls or nets results in a turnover. So, it's time to refine your agility and precision!
To make things even more exciting, the endzones are marked by the 'netball court dome'. Yep, we're taking Ultimate Frisbee to the next level! It's all about bringing innovation and thrilling experiences.
In the mixed divisions, we strictly adhere to the prescribed ratio rule to ensure an equal representation of male and female players on the field. Equality and inclusivity are at the core of our values, and we believe in providing a level playing field for everyone.
Remember, substitutions are allowed, but be careful! Turnovers occur if the disc touches any of the stationary obstacles in the facility. So, keep your focus and make those plays count!
Teams will be awarded ladder points based on their wins and losses, and the tournament ladder will rank teams based on ladder points, points for minus points against, and head-to-head matchups. It's all about teamwork, strategy, and taking home the victory!
