

Volleyball Cape Breton is a volleyball club located in Sydney, Canada, dedicated to providing youth from all over the island with the opportunity to play volleyball in an affordable, safe, and healthy environment. The main goal of the club is to offer youth programs that promote a love for volleyball, both recreationally and at high performance levels, all at a reasonable cost.
Registration for the 2023 season will open on November 15th for returning players, offering three different player streams: Development, Competitive, and Performance. The Development stream caters to ages 7-14, focusing on learning and perfecting basic skills with an emphasis on fun, overall athletic development, and preparation for the Competitive stream. Players in this stream can expect to practice once a week, participate in camps, and may play in league games for $150. 00.
The Competitive stream is designed for ages 13-18, preparing athletes for the High Performance stream and for playing at the high school level. Athletes will learn tactical and technical skills needed for the next level, compete in Volleyball Nova Scotia age class tournaments and Provincial Championships, with an optional attendance at National Championships for $425. 00.
The Performance stream is for athletes ages 14-18, focusing on preparing players for post-secondary ACCA, USport/AUS university level competition. Players will perfect their technical skills, learn advanced tactical skills, compete in various tournaments including out-of-province competitions and Volleyball Canada National Championships. Athletes in this stream will practice up to two times a month outside their local area, participate in the Super Series, and National Championship for $625. 00.
