Born in Harare, Zimbabwe, to South African and Belgian parents, she grew up in Brussels and now resides in London. For her, dance is a way of expression, and through her work, she aims to speak volumes.

Alesandra holds a Diploma in dance theatre from Laban and a degree in choreography and performance from Middlesex University in London. She has also received further training at the cole des Sables in Senegal.
