Join Viking Kayak Club General Pool Sessions group to participate in pool sessions at Robinson Pools & Fitness on select weekday evenings from September to May. The sessions are open to both members and non-members, with different fees depending on your equipment situation. Members pay £6, non-members with their own gear pay £12.50, and non-members needing club equipment pay £19. Don't forget to meet at the club at 7:15pm to collect your kit and get some guidance before heading to the pool at 7:35pm. If you're going straight to the pool, the meeting time is 8:15pm.
You can borrow any necessary kit from the club if needed, but make sure your boats are squeaky clean before you show up. Inside the pool, our experienced coaches will be there to help you improve your paddling skills, practice bracing techniques, and maybe even nail down that roll you've been working on. Helmets are a must during pool sessions, safety first! If you're keen to join but need gear, coaching, or assistance with transport, don't hesitate to drop a message in the Facebook group.
