Led by Academy Director Bleiddyn del Villar Bellis, a fellow and examiner of the CSC-CICB Enrico Cecchetti Final Diploma, Victoria Academy of Ballet prides itself on providing high-quality training for dancers of all levels. With a team of talented instructors, including esteemed professionals such as Royal Ballet School Graduate Harriet Mills and Canadan Professional Contemporary Dancer and Choreographer Bridget Fiske, students receive top-notch instruction to help them reach their full potential.
Former students, such as VAB Alumni Yuri Ishizaka, have gone on to have successful careers in the dance industry after completing the academy's Professional Training Program. The academy is situated on the traditional territory of the lkn peoples, the Songhees, Esquimalt, and WSNE peoples, and the academy acknowledges and respects the historical relationships with the land.
