Nestled in the serene landscape of Vermilion Bay, the Vermilion Bay Lodge offers a peaceful and intimate fishing experience on the renowned Eagle Lake since 1991. This family-friendly camp welcomes both seasoned anglers and adventurers looking to explore the great outdoors.
Eagle Lake, located in NW Ontario, is known for its abundance of the “Big Five” fish species – walleye, northern pike, musky, smallmouth bass, and lake trout. With its variety of fishing opportunities and trophy potential, along with access to several pristine portage lakes, there is a challenge for every angler to enjoy.
Boasting one of the most worry-free dock areas on Eagle Lake, guests can rest assured that their equipment is safe and secure in our individual docks situated in a natural creek channel, providing ultimate protection even in severe weather conditions. For those in need of boat rentals, we offer a selection of vessels to suit your fishing and boating needs.
Unwind in one of our eight well-maintained, fully-equipped housekeeping cabins, each offering a unique experience for guests. Accommodating 2–6 people, our cabins feature comfortable single beds, warm Hudson Bay blankets, private bathrooms, and are well-stocked with linens and towels to ensure a comfortable stay.
Renowned fishing personality Bob Izumi has visited Vermilion Bay Lodge, and guests can also try their luck at hooking a muskie, known as the river monsters of Eagle Lake.
