Founded by Kate Fitzgerald, known to her students as “Miss Kate,” the school aims to bring a touch of magic to every performance and event they are a part of. Kate moved to Yukon in 2012 and fell in love with the community and lifestyle, deciding to make it her home.
Rebecca Reynolds, also known as “Legs,” joined Velvet Antler Productions after years of experience in dance studios and on stage. Raised by a ballet teacher mother, Rebecca's love for vaudeville, showgirl, and burlesque dance styles shines through in her classes and performances. She is passionate about showcasing the unique talents and offerings of Yukon to a wider audience.
Allyn Walton, a Whitehorse native, completes the dynamic trio of instructors at Velvet Antler Productions. After training in classical ballet, jazz, and musical theatre in Toronto, Allyn decided to return home to share her knowledge and experience with the next generation of dancers. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a background in dance and entertainment management, Allyn brings a wealth of expertise to the school.
