With Darcy's energy and know-how, they’re now offering overnight camping trips complete with an authentic chuck wagon.
This ranch caters to riders of all levels, from kids and beginners to seasoned pros. Each guided ride is kept small—no more than eight riders—to make sure everyone gets a personal touch. Plus, for those wanting more than just a trail ride, Vavenby Trail Rides invites guests to participate in cattle roundups, moving the herd to fresh pastures.
Rides start at $50 an hour, and there are various packages available, like the River Ride with lunch or the Roundups for a deeper dive into the ranch life. The latest addition is overnight stays, perfect for those wanting to soak in the full ranching experience.
Conveniently located near the Yellowhead Highway #5, the ranch is open from Spring to late Fall, making it an easy and accessible adventure. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, note that rides are alcohol- and smoke-free.
