Carl van Roon brings an impressive list of credentials to his coaching role. With 28 years of experience in the Martial Arts, he holds an 11th-degree black belt in Karate, a 4th-degree black belt in Taekwon-Do, and a 2nd-degree black belt in WAKO Kickboxing. He also holds a Masters Degree in Sport Science (with 1st Class Honours) from the University of Auckland, as well as a Post-Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation. Additionally, Carl has worked as a film and TV stunt performer in productions such as 'The Hobbit' and 'Power Rangers.
