Vancouver Rowing Club

The Vancouver Rowing Club, located in Stanley Park with breathtaking views of Coal Harbour and the city skyline, is Vancouver's oldest amateur athletic club. Offering a range of sports including rowing, rugby, field hockey, and yachting, the club welcomes members of all ages to participate in their chosen sport. The heritage clubhouse provides a stunning backdrop for members and guests to enjoy a variety of events.

Membership options at the Vancouver Rowing Club include Rowing, Rugby, Field Hockey, Yachting, and Social membership. Members can participate in their sport of choice and also have access to the gym during operating hours. Social members, who are not affiliated with a sporting section, can enjoy the club's amenities but are not eligible to vote at club meetings.

The club hosts a variety of social and sport-related events throughout the year, including the Intersectional Regatta where members from different sections compete for the Intersectional Oar Trophy. The Rowing section, with a history of success at international levels, welcomes experienced rowers or those who have completed a Learn-to-Row program to apply for membership.

Rugby enthusiasts can join one of the VRC's senior men's or women's teams and compete in local league rivalries. The Field Hockey section, known as the Jokers, welcomes players of all skill levels and prides itself on a mix of social and competitive hockey. Yachting members can take part in cruises, races, and social events, with the club maintaining reciprocity with other boating clubs.
